I've spent years behind the camera, and photographing high school seniors is still one of my favorite things to do.
No two seniors are alike, and that's what makes this so much fun. Your personality, your interests, your style—those are the things I want to capture.
Maybe you're happiest barefoot in a field, exploring downtown, hanging out with your favorite four-legged friend, or heading somewhere completely unexpected. I'm always up for a little adventure, especially when there's beautiful light involved.
And here's the good part.
You don't have to know how to pose or dress like someone you're not. We'll figure out the details together, find a location that feels right, and create photographs that are completely you.

A Little Glimpse Behind the Scenes
There's something about seeing your senior photos come to life. The laughter, the little in-between moments, the way you move when you're just being yourself. Those are the things I love capturing on film.
This senior highlight film was created during a session at Dos Lagos Park in Southern California. It's a little peek at the personality, movement, and fun that make each session different.

Don't worry. I've got you.
You don't need to know how to pose or have any experience in front of a camera. That's my job, and I've been doing it for a long time.
I'll help with the little things—where to stand, how to move, and yes, what to do with those hands. We'll talk, laugh, try a few things, and probably discover a favorite photo when neither of us expects it.
You just show up as yourself. I'll take care of the rest.

Your senior photos should feel like you.
Maybe that's barefoot in a sunlit field, wandering through your favorite downtown streets, or grabbing a coffee at the little café you love.
Maybe it's your truck, your horse, your favorite old jacket, or a place that holds a special memory. Or maybe you've got an idea that's a little unexpected. Even better. I love trying something new.
The best photographs begin with who you are.
We'll talk about what you love, choose locations that feel right, plan a few outfits, and figure out the little details together. I'll help you feel comfortable in front of the camera, so you can relax and enjoy yourself.
Some moments will be beautifully planned. Others will happen when we're simply having fun and seeing where the afternoon takes us.
And years from now, I want you to look back at these photographs and remember exactly who you were at this moment in your life.

You don't need a Pinterest board full of ideas or a closet full of new clothes. Although, if you have either, I'm happy to take a look!
Bring your favorite jeans, your guitar, your dog, or that dress you've been saving for something special.
We'll find some beautiful light, wander a little, try a few things, and see what we come up with.
I have a few ideas. I'm sure you will too.
And somewhere along the way, we'll make some pretty wonderful photographs.
